The Color Morale releases “Learned Behavior” [Music News]

The last time I listened to The Color Morale, I was probably in my second year of high school and they didn’t sound like anything special to me.  My, have the times changed; the band has released their first single from their upcoming record “Know Hope”, and WOW is it fantastic.

Vocalist Garret Rapp’s voice on this song is pure euphoria – it’s a Micah Kinard (of Oh Sleeper fame) type scream that he brings to the table, and it’s augmented by the musical accompaniment of Devin King and Aaron Saunders.  Turn your subwoofers on and you’ll hear the bass, courtesy of Justin Hieser while the snare rings out, thanks to Steve Carey.  Musically, this song is amazing; the choir vocals remind of some newer Bring Me The Horizon, and the ending is simply fantastic: that key change is going to hopefully lead into a fantastic number on the album.

Know Hope is due to be released on March 25 through Rise Records, and preorders can be found at the link here.  As frontman Garret Rapp said, “This is more than just another album for us. This is a movement. Know Hope.”
